Walking along the sandy shores of Rio in a tiny bikini (and a blooming pregnant belly), Heela Yang felt liberated. She’d moved to Brazil with her husband seven years prior, but it was in this moment that she truly noticed the country’s body inclusive beach culture. Inspired to — quite literally — bottle that feeling up, she went on to launch Sol de Janeiro in 2015.
