PRE-TAN EXFOLIATION FAQS

When should I exfoliate before fake tan?

The day before tanning is ideal — it gives skin time to settle so colour goes on evenly. Avoid oil-based scrubs right before tanning, as they can create a barrier.

Should I exfoliate while my tan is fading?

Yes — gentle exfoliation helps your tan fade evenly rather than patchily. For a full reset, use a fake tan remover. More tips in how to make your tan last.
