This is an amazing hair dryer/straightener. I don’t silk press my hair often because of the amount of time it takes and the damage it can cause to my hair. However, this device is honestly making me reconsider. I do stretch my hair often and silk press only occasionally, but ever since getting my hands on this device, I’m more than eager to silk press because of the novelty of the whole process rather than the need for it. Even though this device is primarily used for silk presses, I’ve actually resorted to using it every wash day just to stretch my hair out, and I honestly have no regrets. I’m even planning on buying another one for my mom. I’m genuinely not making this up, this device is just that amazing. It’s rendered my blow dryer, attachments, and straightening iron completely useless. The only instance where I don’t really see this device replacing existing styling tools is if wash and gos are your go-to hairstyle. That’s really the only situation where it doesn’t make much sense. Other than that, I honestly don’t see why you wouldn’t get this, especially since the only real alternative is the Dyson Airstrait. This is half the price, and it also straightens, so it honestly feels like a no brainer to me. I sadly don’t have any pictures of myself with a silk press at the moment. i will probably add one or two later.
