What do you get when you combine honey and hair care? Negin Mirsalehi’s mum wondered that exact same thing back in the 1990s, and it turns out the answer is…endlessly glossy, deliciously scented strands!

Beekeeping has been in Negin’s family for six generations. Growing up, honey from their bee garden was used for just about everything, and once they’d discovered that the moisturising and nourishing properties of honey could work wonders for hair, they never looked back.

In 2013, after years in the making, Negin launched Gisou. The iconic Gisou hair oil was their very first product, and the family’s sustainably sourced honey has been at the heart of every produc ever since.

MIRSALEHI HONEY

Their hero ingredient – honey – is rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. It deeply nourishes and moisturises to repair and restore dry, damaged locks.

BEE-CENTRED APPROACH

Gisou puts the wellbeing of their bees first in everything they do — in the same way the Mirsalehi family always has. The company’s mission is also to raise awareness around how important honey bees are to our ecosystem.
