This multipurpose powerhouse uses a modified sulphate derivative called SLES-2 (at a minimal concentration of just 4%) as a cleansing agent to dissolve the barrier between dirt and oil on your skin, scalp and hair. It worked for my hair
I agree that it doesn't lather as much and you end up using more, however, it didn't irritate my sensitive scalp like most shampoos do, including the ones that are sulphate -free. Probably because it's fragrance - free? I don't know, but it seemed to be working on my hair. It's a bit drying so make sure you use the conditioner afterwards.

Good if you're sensitive to fragrance or essential oils
This is a good option when looking for a fragrance-free shampoo, as even shampoos for sensitive scalp often have fragrance or essential oils. It doesn't lather much at first, you need to emulsify and reapply to get a decent lather afterwards. The hair does feel clean and my scalp is not irritated or flaky. I would say it's better for a normal to oily scalp, dry hair might need extra conditioner.

meh body wash, drying shampoo
it's very, very drying on the hair and leave it squeaky clean. as it doesn't have any oils or conditioning ingredients it performs like most baby shampoos. it's alright as a body wash though. nothing special, however, if you have allergies, are sensitive to fragrance or scents this might be worth trying out.
