Dislike the texture
I'm not a fan of the texture, but this is mildly brightening. It dries my skin if I use it too consistently, so I need to make sure I'm hydrating my skin and using sunscreen
Report this reviewGood..
I use in the morning under moisturiser. Haven't noticed a difference in terms of 'brightening' but my skin generally seems more hydrated and clear when using. Doesn't cause piling under makeup like some other similar serums.
Report this reviewAmazing!
Constant repurchase, been using this for years now, every single morning. I usually top this with my moisturiser mixed with 1-2 drops of TO pycnogenol, which prevents the vitamin c from oxidising on your face. This might not be the strongest vitamin c out there, but still lovely. Don't see myself ever stopping using this one
Report this reviewIt's okay
It's not a bad product, but I have seen more change when using other vitamin C serums.Â
Report this reviewNot sure ywt
Used this every day since buying… I do feel it’s helping my skin, but my only grievance is how it is when applied .. it goes on and drys a quite tacky , feel as though it leaves a shiny film on my face.. so not sure if I’m doing something wrong or if be better using it mixed with something elseÂÂ

I adore this product. If you are looking to implement Vitamin C into your skincare then I would highly highly recommend this product. I have purchased around 5 items that claim they have Vitamin C benefits and this is the only one that I can feel those benefits with. Not to mention that my skin feels like it's thanking me whenever I use it. Highly recommend! Very noticeable difference!
Report this reviewNo Zits With This Vitamin C
I have super oily, sensitive, very acne prone skin. Before I started using The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. I had tried many different ascorbic acid products. Many different brands. And many different forms. Serums, Creams, Powder. Non of them lasted more than a few weeks. Because they all did the same thing. They broke me out! The last ascorbic acid product I tried to use was The Ordinary L-Ascorbic Acid powder. I liked it because it wasn't oily. I used to mix it with Vichy Minéral 89 Hyaluronic Acid. But it still broke me out. And left me with lumps under my skin. I decided I was going to give Vitamin C one more chance. But this time in the form of a derivative: The Ordinary’s Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. If it had broke me out. That would have been the final straw for me and vitamin C. But thankfully... It didn't! In fact, the Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% had quite the opposite affect. It got rid of the acne. And the lumps under my skin. Within a week my face was completely clear from the damage the ascorbic acid powder had caused. I will never use ascorbic acid ever again. And I will never stop using The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%. I keeps my face acne free. Lightens my acne scars. Keeps my redness at bay. And just keeps my face looking really good.

This was my first experience with C vitamin products. I wanted to like it a lot, but this serum feels sticky on my skin. Skin feels dry and uncomfortable if I don't put moisturiser on the top of the serum. I have combination skin and dry feeling isn't something very common to me. I don't think I will try this serum again, but I am open to try other products from Ordinary.
