Gloss isn't just for your lips – but you already knew that, right? With highlighting being big beauty news for as long as we can remember, the current penchant for glossing seems to be the next step – just as eye-catching but sans the shimmer it's slightly more sophisticated (and even easier to master). Think: gym-skin sheen à la Gigi Hadid post-work out.

From Kim K's super-slick centre parting, to model Karlie Kloss's glowing skin and all those ultra-editorial, shiny-shiny eyelids (tipped to be a massive trend in early 2017), 'glossing' certainly has 'wow' factor. Because, lets face it, who doesn't feel like a movie star when they look a little... well, glossier?

A fast-track to gorgeous glossy make-up? Elizabeth Arden's famous {Eight Hour Cream} works a treat. A combination of petrolatum, nourishing beta-hydroxy and Vitamin E, this looks great dabbed on lids and lips (just be careful not to get too close to the eye area). Or, if you want gloss and a hint of highlight, NudeStix's Skin Glossing Pencil is the key to that stunning SoKo glow.

Sleek, wet-look locks can be created using {Sachajuan's} Shine Serum, which reflects light and actually seals split ends to grant a glass-like finish. Work a few drops into your scalp, create a strong parting and slick back into a tight low ponytail (this is great for camouflaging need-washed locks).

To add an all-over sheen to limbs, décolleté and shoulders you can't go wrong with {Nuxe's} cult classic {Huile Prodigeuse} – massaged into the skin, it nourishes with a cocktail of plant oils and Vitamin E creating that coveted, catwalk-worthy glimmer.

Want to give your nails a high-shine finish? Opt for CND - Creative Nail Design {Vinylux Weekly Top Coat}. A clear top coat (with serious staying power), this give tips a slick, mirror-like shine - perfect for polishing naked nails, or elevating your mani to blinding shiny new heights...
