Thick, heavy but doesn't spread easily
Lovely smell, feels nourishing, spa like experience except it doesn't spread given it's thickness.Personally for me this feels like a cream to lock in moisture more than anything, so I use a base moisturiser first, then this on areas where I've dehydration.Would I buy again - nope - I'd get through this too fast as my main moisturiser (given lack of spreadability).
Report this reviewMy winter essential
I've been using this cream every winter for about 8 years - I have 'normal' skin but it's on the drier side in the winter, and a pea sized amount of this mixed with 3-4 drops of rosehip oil works such wonders! If you have dry skin in the winter then I highly recommend, a little goes a long way too - one pot lasts me from about late October to late March/April and that's using it morning and night.
Report this reviewWinter must have
This is my go-to cream during winter time for my very dry and flaky skin: it's the only thing that helps on my dry spots. That said, I will only use it for winter and for night-time, since it is very heavy. The only minus is that you need a lot of product to cover your whole face, so it runs out quite fast.
Report this reviewQuality, not quantity
I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this moisturiser. On the one hand, it keeps my skin (sensitive, very dry, oily) hydrated and soothed all day, which is a small miracle in winter, and break-outs are minimal. It definitely does what it says on the tin. On the other hand, said tin is quite small, and because it's so dense, you need to use quite a big dollop to feel like you're actually getting coverage. If you don't use enough it feels like smearing a sliver of butter over toast. 4 stars for keeping my skin happy, though.
Report this reviewThe winter skincare
I use the camellia nut in the summer and this cream in the winter. It started one fateful afternoon on my way to the gym and I needed to buy a moisturizer for after my shower. I impulsively bought this one for my gym bag and it soon found a permanent spot in my vanity. This product is great for dry skin in dry and cold climates. It absorbs so well and has the most lovely texture. I don't know how to describe the smell, but it's very pleasant and I just love using this product. I used the whole pot but will absolutely repurchase in the autumn.
