Hydrating Non-Miraculous Potion
I like this serum. It feels light and refreshing and my skin is more hydrated. A perfect product for the summer. While it works and feels very nice, I start to wonder if the Drunk Elephant articles aren’t overpriced and overhyped. It’s all very nice but there’re many other serums that maybe do even more and help in case of a more dehydrated skin. Most serums are the real power bomb of the routine while this one seems more like just another little step of the routine. Bottom line: it works if you need a little of hydration but it’s not a miraculous potion. While it’s nice I don’t think I’ll repurchase as I want more from a serum.

A Cool Glass of Water, Please!
My skin was very dehydrated and dull but most products felt too heavy during the summer months. I was looking more greasy than hydrated and felt a heavy blanket on my face. This serum has been a fresh breath of air or better: a cool glass of water for my skin. My skin is drinking it. It disappears immediately into deeper layers leaving my skin more illuminated, healthy and youthful. I see how the texture and skin tone improve with every application and my face looks brighter. It’s not a miraculous product that can stand on its own though. It needs a good routine and a moisturizer that locks the hydration in. My mature skin will need more nutrition during the winter months but I definitely recommend it in hot climates and for a young skin throughout the year.
