This soothing Essential Hydration Cream with Rose Geranium suspends fatty acids and youth-restoring antioxidants in the finest of essential oils to nurture both skin and senses.

Oil of evening primrose, jojoba and rose geranium nourish the skin and restore elasticity; arnica, cypress berry, solomon's seal and malt work to counteract inflammation and minimise redness; palmitoyl tripeptide-5 stimulates collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines; and antioxidant vitamin E protects against environmental aggressors and fortifies your skin. The formula is available in a full (50ml) and travel size (30ml), so you need never be without!

Moisturises my skin all day

I have eczema so am prone to dry skin, but this keeps my face and neck moisturised all day!

Such a shame they changed the scent

I was delighted to have found this face cream earlier in the year. My skin is more hydrated, smooth and healthy, and I decided to ignore the recent reviews and re-order it as I loved it so much. Sadly it's true, the lovely rose geranium scent has been replaced by something very medicinal smelling an off-putting. I'll keep going due to the amount of money I've spent on it, but doubt I'll be buying it again

Just okay

The smell of this product gives me a headache. I find that it starts to smell eggy a few minutes after application so I find it difficult to use on my face because of the smell. However, it's not at all greasy so I imagine it would be great for people with dry skin who do not mind strong smelling products.

Hate the new formula

The rose smell is rank and the texture is off, not as smoothing as the previous ylang ylang incarnation. Won't be buying again.

Good stuff

I loved the firmness this cream gave me. It comes in a pump but it very good for keeping the face hydrated. I also found the smell quite nice I know a lot of people are put off but I quite liked it.

It's a no from me

I read a stack of great reviews but none on the new formula, which I wasn't aware of. It's not so much the smell although it's very fragrant, it's the burning like sensation I get for a few seconds when I apply it. I think its all the essential oils in it? My routine is to cleanse, acid, essence, vit c or vit a, hydration serum, then top it all off with a moisturizer. But this one stings me I don't like it at all. The pump and packaging is the best part.

New formulation is a no for me

I first bought the Essential Hydration cream almost 2 years ago or so, and fell in love. So much so, that I bought a new tub as soon as I ran out without much thought. To my surprise, when I first applied the second tub, the scent of geranium was overwhelming; they'd changed the formula. Why do it in the first place is beyond me, as it was the perfect moisturizer - probably the best I've ever tried. Despite the strong (and, in my opinion, sickening) smell, I persevered and kept on using it, as texture-wise, I still loved it on my combination skin. Unfortunately, not only does the new formula have a scent that I hate, turns out, it also breaks me out. Booooo. In summary, great moisturizer: if your nose and skin can handle the geranium they added. For me, it's a no. Hopefully, they'll bring back the old formula.

Great product

I use it in morning it absorbs very quickly into the skin very lightweight but hydrating on the skin. I have very dehydrated skin and is more water based then oil so doesn't make me break out as oil cream dose.

Left a film on my skin

I found the scent pleasant and natural which I love about all Alpha-h products but this cream really struggled to hydrate my skin. It didn’t absorb well and I could feel it siting on top of my skin for most of the day. I love the concept of the packaging too but mine struggled to pump out anything which made it a small argument in the mornings that I really could have done without. For the price and lack of hydration to my skin on this occasion, I wouldn't recommend.

Lovely face cream

I bought this one after seeing Caroline Hirons review, she said that it’s one of her favourite face creams so I decided to try it. And yes it is lovely!!!! It’s light but rich at the same time. I have a face who’s very reactive and this one just did my skin look amazing. I would buy it again.
