Fabulous product at a real price...
I've been looking at something to help with lines and my ageing skin, I'm 47. I bought this product as I thought at that price I can afford the hit if it doesn't do much. It's great and I use it with other The Ordinary products, I was nervous about using so many different acid products but chose the full strength ones as my skin is not particularly sensitive, but it seems fine. I have pigmentation on the upper lip and neck, it's already starting to fade after less than one week use. Definitely, recommend.

Great value for money
I have always tried to spend as much as I could afford on skincare usually paying £50 + for a serum. I have only recently started using retinol and thought I'd try this. I've been using it every other night for a couple of weeks and haven't had any issues with stinging or redness at all. It's a no-frills product but feels nice on the skin. I also purchased the matrixol serum, I use that on alternate nights too, I found in this weather it made my skin feel a but greasy during the day. My skin is definitely feeling smooth and possibly more even in tone. I'm very pleased with both products and I will buy them again.

Granactive Retinoid 5%
I’ve previously used the Granactive 2% in Squalane which suited my skin. I thought I’d go up a level and use the 5%. I wasn’t keen on the oily consistency of the 5% and felt it creep onto my eyelids from my forehead. Unfortunately, it broke me out in really bad acne around my mouth, chin, jawline and sides of my forehead. The spots are only just starting to go after 1 month. I did suffer from acne from age of 11-25 and it only cleared up after a few courses of medication. I do get the occasional spot but this was a proper breakout noticed by colleagues. I’ll begin using the 2% again when my face is totally cleared up.

Very pleased
My daughter recommended this, however being 67 thought I'd missed the boat. It was relatively cheap compared to some of my other potions so decided to give it a go. Aren't I pleased! Whilst not exactly taking 20 years off, it has improved the texture of my skin and really doesn't make me look better. I think others have noticed as they sometimes say 'you look well', which is not something I hear that often.

If you have texture, you need this
I have been battling with little bumps and rough patches on my forehead and cheeks for years. I decided to try this after my Emma Hardie cleansing balm and REN aha tonic in the evening. The first time I woke up and I looked refreshed. Six months after my first use and the bumps and unevenness of my skin has gone and I feel like the combination of the two has regenerated my face incredibly. This stuff used after the Ren tonic has completely changed my skin texture and it looks like glass. Amazing!
