Great introduction to retinols
This is an amazing introduction to retinol for more mature skins, where you can actually see a difference. Please use every second or third night, as it is potent. It can be used combined with your acids. Cannot praise this enough, despite being underwhelmed by almost all other Ordinary products (I have tried them all, not kidding), Matrixyl being the other stellar one.

Lovley way to use retinoid
Lov this the ordinary retinoid 5 in squalane product. Never had any reaction. Even with though my skin is prone to eczema. Lov it. Use it at night. Feels like a night oil and leaves my skin super soft.

Original retinol 5%
This is the best product I have come across. It is my first retinol cream and at 5% I have had no reaction to it. My skin has never been this good. It has a healthy glow and make's my skin feel silky and I have had no dryness. Absolutely love it.

Be careful with this
So after hearing all the hype about retinols and finding the brand "The Ordinary" I decided to try this out! (With such a brilliant price tag, it is not going to break the bank trying it). I, unfortunately, cannot recommend this product as I have not been having past (and frankly do not want to get past) the "purge" stage. After using this for a few weeks, I had a massive breakout and using the trusty internet found out that if you are prone to breakouts retinol will make your skin "purge” (basically a suuuuper breakout). If you persist (for up to three months) this purge will complete and you will have the best skin ever of your life…..I could not do it. I have read other articles that say if you use retinols carefully at a low % and gradually you can avoid this, so as this one is 5% (quite a high %), then maybe use a lower % first (which I am going to try). So a warning to all those prone to breakouts…research first and use this product carefully!

Brilliant potion
This is the most amazing stuff. Has made a massive difference to skin texture and really improved the skin on my neck. Can't do without it now. It's amazing.
