Superhero product!
I have dealt with hormonal acne for a couple of years, and tried many products to reduce the breakouts - with little or no succes. Within days of using this product my skin cleared up completely. Now a month later I have not had a single breakout since I started using this product! As a bonus my skin has become smooth and soft, and makeup sits much better on the skin! Best skin care product I have used for many years!!

Great product.
Love this retinol product and use it along with other The Ordinary products in the pm. I start with the Hyaluronic acid, then Matrixyl and then the Granactive Retinol and my skin loves this combo, I sometimes finish with a Rosehip oil and yes, I do go to bed looking a bit shiny, but I smell great! One important thing to remember is that retinol makes your skin sun sensitive so always use a sunscreen during the day ( best anti-aging product ever). I've just discovered The INKEYLIST Zinc moisturiser which is a sunscreen and moisturiser in one and it has a great light feel to it, almost like a primer. Cult Beauty now stock this brand and I'm looking forward to trying their products, they have a similar ethic and price to The Ordinary.

Amazing product
I use this before nighttime and always wake up with much smoother and healthier looking skin than before I started using retinol. It's great value for money and perfect for a 30-something anti-ageing skin care routine :-)

I’ve had persistent little lumps on my face for months which I could not get rid of, tried steaming and all sorts of expensive cures & potions. Received this yesterday and used before bed. Miracle product!!! No lumps this morning

Granactive Retinoid 5%
So happy to have found the Ordinary, no fuss, no muss and does what it is supposed to do. I have used retinol based products for years but this one is my favourite. My skin looks great, my wallet is happy. I really like the oil base although I do add a layer of a simple moisturiser on top, just to make sure. My skin looks smooth and supple, so yeah, highly recommend this.
