The broad curve curls lashes from the outer corner to the inner corner of your eye, with silicone pads that curl from base to tip, reaching even the smallest lashes without pinching.
Position the curler, with the handles open as far as they go, at the base of your upper lashline, gently squeeze together and hold for 5 seconds. Then move slowly up the lash squeezing gently and releasing as you go. Release handles fully before removing the curler to avoid pulling or breaking the lashes.

Great curler
It might be a bit pricer but for me I notice that it fit my eye better than any other curler I have used before. It doesn’t pinch my lids at all and feels super sturdy.

I don't get the hype
I highly respect the Shiseido brand, but I don't know what all the fuss is about this curler. It works well enough, and the motion is smooth and non-sticking, but I do still easily pinch myself, and it doesn't seem to easily get the entire lash line.

Not for me
I also have the Surratt curler and the Kevyn Aucoin curler. I wanted to try this one because of the hype, but it's the one I like the least; it doesn't cover the lashes at the ends well. I prefer the Kevyn Aucoin curler.
