I don't know, my hair just seems to love this? Unlike another reviewer I've had no problems with the nozzle - it might actually be my favorite of any leave-in-conditioner I've tried. Much easier to use than the kind where you have to press the top and some of it always ends up leaking down the bottle - I've had no problems with that here.
