I have applied it to my roots, mid shaft and ends, without any buildup. But a little does go a long way so don’t be too over zealous when spraying the product. I find it easiest to apply to my hands and then work it into my hair using my fingers. It has completely changed my hair from been dry and frizzy to more hydrated, and supple with a lovely perfume. I would highly recommend this product. It will always be my first choice for my hair.
