As you massage this soft-solid balm into your skin it transforms into an oil that gently melts away dirt, impurities and make up (even the stubborn kind). Supercharged with rice bran water and oil, this formula helps to maintain moisture levels and provide intense nourishment thanks to this ingredient being rich in amino acids, minerals and vitamin E. Elsewhere in the concoction grain complex extracts offer gentle exfoliation to smooth, while also soothing, brightening and reducing excess shine. Prepare yourself for an ultra-cleansed yet hydrated base.
Scoop a generous amount onto dry skin and gently massage in circular motions. Rinse off with lukewarm water, then wash your face with a foam cleanser.

Perfect as night time cleanser for mature skin
I have been using the cleansing balm as part of my morning and evening routine for several months now. Everything was going fine until a few days ago my skin started to feel tight by mid-morning. It turns out the cleansing balm was stripping too much of my skin's natural oil first thing in the morning. I was advised to only use it in the night time where it is perfect for removing make up and sunscreen. It's my fault for not reading the advert properly where it states: "cleanse away the day"

Best cleansing balm
I used to used Drunk Elephant balm, I don't know how many packages...since I found this one it is the only one I use. Very small amount needed, easily melts, great first step cleanser in the evening. When I melt it in my skin I do short face massage, great for that also.
