Rich in omega 7 sea buckthorn, this lotion promotes elasticity to bring back the bounce to your tresses. Plus, amika's signature scent of warm vanilla, sweet-sweet clover and fresh citrus just got even more potent. Gentle, But Needs a Partner Shampoo
This is a really gentle, nicely formulated sulfate-free shampoo and it’s great for frequent washing (I wash twice a week). It works well on my color-treated hair, especially the dry, frizz-prone ends, and cleans without that tight, squeaky feeling. That said, it’s not enough on its own for me. With fine-to-medium hair and lots of leave-in products, I still need a clarifying wash every few weeks, and I also need something else in rotation for oilier roots or volume. This shampoo is more conditioning than refreshing at the scalp. I enjoyed using it, but it didn’t replace my Color WOW staple, which removes buildup better and leaves my hair feeling lighter and airier. I think Amika Normcore is better suited to thicker, drier hair or scalps, while Color WOW works better if you need cleaner roots and more lift.
