Fantastic formula, but wrong shade match
I love almost everything about this product. It gives a light, refreshing minty sensation on the lips that is subtle and not bothersome at all. The formula feels incredible and performs beautifully, making it well worth it, especially if you snag it on sale. Unfortunately, I just didn't pick the right shade for my tone, but the quality and texture of the lipstick itself are undeniable.

This lipstick, gloss or balm – I’m not quite sure what to call it – feels quite sticky to me. I like the colours, but it’s quite sticky. If you wear it for a while, you end up with a sticky mess around the corners of your mouth, and that’s what I find a shame about this lipstick. I’m not saying it’s a bad product, but I’d expected a bit more from it, especially as I’ve seen some really lovely Hourglass products, such as their bronzer, concealer and, of course, the Diffused Lighting powders and blushes.
