  • SUQQU Smooth Cover Primer

Image 1 of 1

The perfect foundation for your foundation, the Smooth Cover Primer boasts a gel-like consistency that bonds with your base products to bolster longevity without making skin look cakey.

Harnessing the power of three botanical extracts to moisturise, comfort and care for skin while allowing it to breathe, (you won’t find any clogged pores here!), this lightweight primer includes SPF, blends easily and envelopes skin to blur the look of pores and fine lines. With unique light-filtering properties, this semi-sheer formula gives a glazed, satiny, filtered finish as it plays with light to result in a radiant and natural-looking film. The impeccable, ceramic-like finish won’t interfere with the finish of later products, and its soft beige undertone will neutralise uneven tone and redness.

Spread a pearl-sized amount evenly over the entire face.

Inspired by the Japanese expression for ‘a woman rising to her full height’, SUQQU is synonymous with elegance and grace. Combining the very best of skin care with the very best of make up, the Smooth Cover Primer ensures the longevity of your base products with a kind-to-skin, botanical extract-rich formula that soothes as it bonds to foundation and concealer – making it last all day long. Comfortable and lightweight, it won’t make skin look cakey or feel greasy, and it literally filters light to give you a real-life filtered finish.

Very disappointed with the product, perhaps this is not for my skin type.

    Perfect for me

This is my favourite primer. It creates a soft canvas and is perfect underneath their powder foundation. It also provides a good extra layer of coverage. I’m very pale and I don’t know if this would work on anyone with deeper skin.

    Not for me

This is another Suqqu product that I really wanted to love, but I don’t. It’s sticky and gooey and does not sink Into the skin well or create a nice ‘canvas’ for foundation. After application you are certainly aware there is a product on your skin as it feels heavy and makes skin look dull. I’ve tried 4 different Suqqu products and I can honestly say I’ve not liked any of them. Before purchasing, get some samples if you can or maybe test them out if you can. For me, it’s been a costly mistake.
