beautiful color, made by a makeup artist. But dry on my lips. I really need to apply lip balm a while before otherwise my parched lips will look parched and the lipstick will look weird.

I don't get the hype
Because I love Westman Atelier a lot, I decided to try this lipstick in the shade Pique. It is a nice neutral color, and the packaging is great, but this is where the compliments end. It dries out my lips terribly and shrivels them as well, which accentuates the texture. The only way I can somewhat make it work is if I apply clear lip gloss, but it is not ideal. The formula needs changing if I were to ever buy another one or consider a refill if they ever release them. I truly don't get the hype.

I am the type of person who bites her lips a lot and this lipstick is one of the few that will not travel accross my face. I bought the Je Rève, which is a mauve-rose and suits my fair skin with dark hair and eyes, but I guess this color suits the entire skin colour range. I just love it and would buy it again.
