one of the best products ever
i’ve always had clear skin until started wearing masks, and for around a year i’ve been struggling to find a product that helps with acne and scars. i spent hundreds of pounds on other products and nothing helped, some made it even worse. then i decided to give ordinary a try and one of the best decisions ever. this product really just saved my skin. i have combination skin, and been using this for two weeks and it cleared all the acne and brightened all the dark spots/acne scars. it’s so good that i feel like there won’t be a single dark spot left on my skin in a few days. for the first 10 days, i used it twice daily. now i’m using it in the mornings only, after cleansing and exfoliating (i use the paula’s choice liquid exfoliant with salicylic acid once every two days). it can be worn under makeup but let it fully absorb before you put your moisturizer. and don’t forget your spf! i absolutely recommend this product to anyone, my skin just loves it and i don’t think i’ll ever stop using it. i’m so happy that i’ve finally found a product that really works (and also that i’m finally done with the product search now that i got my clear skin back!)Â

It is ACTUALLY miraculous
I am always suspicious of products that promise miracles, so when you find one that is ACTUALLY a miracle, it's a real thrill! I cannot believe that a product that does what niacinamide does can be so cheap. Everyone should know about this product. I would give it more stores if I could.I bought is for myself to help with pores, fine lines, occasional pimples and particularly very small blackheads I get on my chin. I also bought it for my partner who struggles with breakouts, large pores, and a lot of blackheads across her cheeks, nose and chin.After about the first month, BOTH of our faces had noticeably, visibly smaller pores, clearer skin, brighter and more even tone. My partner's skin has become completely clear, with almost no blackheads or breakouts. If I get a pimple these days, I am completely surprised. It is seriously a game changer and I highly recommend. I have been trying to reduce the pores on my chin for years, and this is the first product that has actually worked.Just a note, I use it together with a retinol/retinoid night cream and they seem to work well together. My partner used it with no other products besides the usual toner and moisturiser.I would say though that if you struggle with very dry skin (neither of us do), I would look into making sure you have a good accompanying product for moisture.

Great product!
Was a bit scared because my skin is quite dry but this product was amazing! I got it to improve my hyperpigmentation and I see a slow but steady improvement but what I didn't expect was the major difference in my pore appearance and overall skin texture. Seriously a holy grail of a product. If your skin is really dry and you're scared of that I would either get The Ordinary's plant-based squalane to accompany this product or maybe The Ordinary's niacinamide powder so you can eliminate the zinc.

I have combination to oily skin and this serum helps me get rid of my breakouts so well! I used it in am & pm and I have noticed a huge difference! Very affordable. I don’t recommend it under makeup tho.

I have always always struggled with acnes and acne scars. After using this product, my acne scars went away very quickly. And, my skin is almost acne free (the only time I now get them is during my periods. But the ones that I do get are gone in days and do not leave a long-lasting scar).
