I’m not really sure about this one, yes it’s great at removing foundation etc. from the face however I can’t put it near my eyes. Maybe I just have sensitive eyes but I struggle removing my mascara with this as it always gets in my eyes and it burns.

Packaging change ruined the product

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

I used to love this cleanser for a gentle, daily cleanse (not great at make-up removal though). Oat is also good for sensitive skin, and I like a balm in a tube. However, the brand recently changed their packaging and I feel that the value of the product has changed with it. I know this doesn't seem to make sense, but hear me out. The tube is now made of much harder, much more rigid plastic. Since the balm is thick, you do need to squeeze it out of the tube with enough strength. However, with the new packaging it is bow much more difficult, and you end up having to use all your might to get some product even if you've just opened it. If you're getting near the end a lot of product gets wasted too because you can't squeeze the tube enough to get it out.I am very disappointed because this is not very inclusive at all. I can't imagine people with any kind of disability or impaired motor skills be able to use it. And even for an able-bodied person, the user experience is atrocious and the waste is greater.

Cleanser

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

So I have re bought this product and over time my opinion has changed. I originally thought it was a great cleanser but over time it has started to feel bitty and the cleanser has separated even when you shake it every time. I think there are better cleansers out there for only a bit more money.

Great but leaves a waxy feeling

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Excellent makeup removing capabilities, however feels like it leaves a waxy residue at the end. I use Alpha H face washes mostly and this removed makeup better. Need to follow-up w/ moisturizer. Probably great for travel when you dont want to carry too many cleansing products.

Great as part of double cleanse

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This melts off the days makeup no problem and feels hydrating. I do have to double cleanse with this though as it’s leaves an waxy feeling left on the skin  after rinsing off. But I like a double cleanse routine so that’s ok.

Good product!

This is a product I keep buying time and time again. Great price point! Feels a bit like vaseline but you have to follow the instructions and use it properly - if you do you can see why so many people like it! I use mine with a hot flannel & its bliss, leave my skin clean and moisturised. Great as a second cleanse. Very mild. Can also double up as a moisturising face mask if left on for longer. Its not a ‘lux’ product but at its price range its really great. Highly recommend!

Nice cleansing balm

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have struggled to find a cleaner for my sensitive dry skin. This is really good for that. I like to warm it up in my hands and add a splash of water which makes it into a milky kind of texture. The only thing I don’t enjoy about it is I somehow get this white residue in my eyes after washing my face. I can remove it but it’s a bit odd.

Cleanser

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I use this as part of a double cleans in the evening. It’s a lovely thick consistency and does feel lovely on my skin. I would say that it does not remove make up as well as other cleansers I’ve used. Great price point though and lasts ages

Great for the price

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

FYI I wear sunscreen and light makeup on a daily. Yes, it does leave a film on your face! I use it as the first step in my double cleansing routine so it doesn't bother me much. The texture gets a bit funky and gritty (like extra exfoliation) but the product works great as a no-fuss, affordable oil cleanser. Also, hasn't irritated my sensitive skin at all! For the price and the amount you get, nothing beats this.
