Too strong smell, no results
I got this Afterglow moisturiser in a small size in a goody bag and have used it for about a week in the mornings. Though the texture is pleasant, this product has almost overwhelming amount of essential oils that make the scent linger. I don't mind the smell so much as I think the essential oils are completely redundant and not good for sensitive skins. For me personally, the texture is a little too heavy (having normal/combo skin), especially after hydrating serum. It did not irritate my skin, but I also didn't see much brightening. Probably as it does not include ascorbic acid. Therefore, I much prefer Medik8 products or other ascorbic acid products that are proven to work. The only nice effect is the tone balancing effect, like a primer, but this due to the colour and silicone- the yellow creates more uniform filtered look and silicone creates diffused blurring skin surface. I find the full size too expensive for what it is, there are much more efficient vitamin c products on the market with same or lower price.

I love Sunday Riley products and this one doesn't fail! I love that it is lightweight and gives that luminosity and glow. I have pigmentation issues and have done several treatments and I am not sure if this cream helps stabilize my current results, but vitamin c is great for pigmentation issues so I would like to think so. Overall, a lovely buy!

I had a 5ml sample which lasted for maybe 10 uses so I haven't been able to see any long-term benefits. However on a first impressions basis, I didn't love the cream. The aromatic scent is insanely strong. The gel texture didn't feel enough to moisturise my face fully. It didn't do anything bad, just nothing great. Although I will say I love the Sunday Riley vitamin C serum - would choose that any day over this.

As a big fan of Sunday Riley products I had to try this cream and I think it is best for the summer or if you don't need that much hydration. It gives a nice glow to the skin but I think I prefer the other CEO moisturiser.
