I like mini packaging versions of lip balms, because I like to change products often. But this time I was disappointed that the mini packaging is not the same as the larger size lip product. Why is there a plastic lip applicator? The product seems cheap right away. Other brands make the same as the products bigger sizes. And I think the scents is not the same..

Sweet Mint is great, the rest not so much
I had bought and used up the Sweet Mint Balm in full size before this set and I loved it. The slight minty circulation enhancement was lovely and the scent and taste were totally inoffensive. I thought I'd get this set to test some other "flavours". Well, let me tell you... I threw the Vanilla Beige and Cherry out after a couple of uses, because the taste was unbearably off-putting. Someone said the cherry version resembled a medicinal cherry taste - and they're not wrong. The Vanilla Beige also made me cringe every time I got it in my mouth - it has an awful chemical taste. The pink guava has a fruity scent, no mint to it at all. I don't love it, but at least I can use it (unlike the Vanilla Beige and Cherry) without getting extremely nauseated. The ballpark for the scent and taste is around gummy sweets. The Sweet Mint is lovely and the "adult of the bunch" as always. Before I tried these minis, I was considering the limited edition set with the Chocolate and the Marshmallow as I like the formula - not anymore. If you want a Butter Balm, just get the Sweet Mint.
