Comfortable and Clean Formula, But Not for My Powder-Heavy Routine
The RMS Radiance Lock Setting Mist is the newest addition to my collection, and while it has some lovely qualities, it ultimately doesn’t meet my needs. On the positive side, it’s formulated with 97% naturally derived ingredients and is alcohol-free, which makes it comfortable and non-drying on the skin. It leaves a healthy, natural glow that’s dewy without looking greasy, and it does help blur the look of pores while avoiding a cakey or powdery finish. That said, the very qualities that make this spray hydrating also cause issues for me. Instead of locking makeup in place, the formula tends to melt and move my makeup — especially eyeshadow — because it’s designed to fuse powders into the skin rather than set them with a firm hold. Application can be tricky, too, since the sprayer often releases a heavy stream instead of a fine mist, leaving droplets that disrupt powdered products and cause creasing or separation. For someone like me, whose routine relies heavily on powder formulas, this effect works against what I need in a setting spray. Overall, I wouldn’t call this a bad product — it’s gentle, skin-friendly, and offers a radiant finish for those who want a dewy look. But if, like me, you’re looking for a reliable spray that locks makeup in place while taking away the powdery look, this one may fall short.

Nice hydrating mist, doesn't disrupt makeup
Mist feels nice and hydrating and doesn't disrupt makeup. It can help melt powders into skin, however, not sure if it actually prolongs my makeup or not - I don't find any obvious lessening of makeup breakdown/wear-down over a long and busy day. Spritzer is also not the finest I've tried, i would recommend pre-spritzing 1-2 times if you want to avoid getting an uneven initial application.
