Paula’s Choice Clinical Pro Retinaldehyde Dual-Retinoid Treatment (30ml) is the power duo treatment to help tackle wrinkles and blemishes simultaneously, all without irritation.
Suitable for all skin types, this high-potency, dermatologically tested formula is clinically proven to help improve texture, reduce lines and enhance luminosity in just two to eight weeks. Three hero ingredients combine to deliver incredible results. First up is 0.1% Retinaldehyde (retinal), which smooths your complexion and comes encapsulated in calcium to minimise irritation. It’s joined by 0.16% Oleyl Adapalenate (adapinoid) to reduce the look of pores and blemishes, as well as pomegranate peel extract. This potent antioxidant enhances the appearance of collagen-rich skin and fends off free radicals to support clear skin.

Limit initial use to three times per week; gradually increase frequency to every evening as tolerated. Apply one to two pumps over face and neck, avoiding contact with eyes. For daytime, always follow with a sunscreen. Do not use at the same time as an AHA or BHA exfoliant until you see how your skin responds.

This is the only over the ocunter retinol that controls my hormonal acne and does not sensitize my really red sensitive skin... its expensive but worth it. It also last along time, you only need one pump per use

Broke me out like crazy
Maybe its because my skin was not ready for the high retinal content, but as someone who practically never reacts to any products, this was a really bas first time. I did allow the first three months of use to be excused by a possible "purge", but it just continued. Might be better for others as PC is truly credible with its ingrediens lists and expertise.

This treatment is very effective because it makes my skin look much smoother and clearer without causing big irritation. I really like the lightweight texture, though the bright yellow color can sometimes stain my pillowcases if I don't wait for it to absorb. It is a bit strong for beginners, but for me, it works great to reduce fine lines and even out my skin tone.

Not miraculous. I got it from an edit. I already used retinol so this product didn't irritate me at all. I used it every night from the very beginning. Not my favourite, I prefer fig.1 which leaves my skin fresher and more hydrated. I needed a hydrating cream after this for sure. I also don't like the brand's bottles because I don't know when product's coming to an end.

Gentle but it works!
I already finished the first bottle I received from the beauty edit and I am purchasing my 2nd one. I didn't suffer redness with this one compared to other retinals I have tried. The lines on my forehead are still there but less visible now... pretty impressive IMO, so I would like to keep using it to see if the improvement on my skin texture will have more obvious results!
