Product Description

There isn't much Ole Henriksen's Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturiser can't do for your skin. Think: boosting hydration and elasticity, visibly reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and reinforcing your moisture barrier. Some might call it beauty perfection in a (recyclable) jar.

This vegan cream is packed with peptides, collagen and hyaluronic acid - powerful, nutrient-rich ingredients that your skin craves on a daily basis. It's formulated to lock in moisture and bring back your complexion's natural bounce and resilience no matter your skin type. And the best part? You'll see results immediately according to an 8-week clinical trial where 100% of users agreed that their face looked more refreshed, revived and less stressed. Sounds like we won't be ordering just one jar...

I love it!

I love this cream! The texture is balmy, but not oily, and very nourishing. It is also very nice under makeup, as it smoothes the skin out.

One of my favourite face creams

This is my second jar, and I’m still really enjoying it. It has a wonderfully creamy texture that feels rich and nourishing without being greasy. A little goes a long way, so the jar lasts quite a while. I love incorporating it into my evening skincare routine, as it leaves my skin feeling well-hydrated and comfortable. It is a bit pricey for a basic cream, but I feel it delivers on its promise of hydration and does the job very well.

Hydrating

The price is crazy but the cream is really great. Smells citrusy and is quite dense. But for winter ideal.

nice hydration

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I use it over a peptid serum, and a retinal serum. It is a very nice cream, my skin is so plumped and soft. I love it, however I have to use an additional peptid serum with this (but I am nearyl 50 years old, so I think it is not the cream's fault) But in addition to my routine, it is one of my favourite cream for hydration and sealing as the last step at night. (my skin is dry, thin and dehydrated, from my very young age (17-18), so it is tricky for me to use actives, but without retinal I look like my grandma, so I do not want to skip this, and this cream helps me to keep retinal in my routine)

My oily skin loves it

I’ve been using the Ole Henriksen Strength Trainer moisturiser at night and I really like it. I have combination to oily skin, and it still works great without feeling heavy or greasy. It leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and soft, with a really nice, almost “plump” feeling by the morning. The hydration is honestly amazing. A bit pricey, but it feels like it actually does something - especially when my skin needs extra care!

Good Skin Support, but Not a Game-Changer

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I’m writing this after finishing the whole jar, so I’ve had enough time to really see what it does. I originally bought it thinking a peptide cream could replace my copper peptide serum (I use Biossance), but now I realise that expectation wasn’t realistic from the start. This formula doesn’t contain copper peptides, and the peptides it does have feel more like supportive extras rather than something truly transformative. After a few weeks of using it on its own, I went back to my serum anyway, as that’s what actually gives me that “my skin looks better over time” effect. That said, as a moisturiser, it’s still a good one. I used it when my skin was a bit compromised and dehydrated, and it felt nourishing and supportive. It does lean on the richer side though, so I don’t think it would be ideal for me in summer when my skin gets oilier. The formula is clearly well thought out (niacinamide, ceramides, cholesterol, panthenol, peptides), so it doesn’t feel like a basic cream with a premium price tag. But at the same time, it’s not a miracle product either. Overall, a solid, well-formulated moisturiser with “nice extras,” but the peptide story here is more supportive than transformative. Price-wise: fair, but not amazing. Not a scam, not a bargain.
