This silky night serum for retinal regulars contains the strongest concentration of vitamin A to come out of the Crystal collection to date (that's a potent 2.0% retinaldehyde for all the skingredient buffs out there). Expect a complexion that appears smoother, brighter and oh-so-supple. That's not all though: the addition of hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and glycerin provides a soothing and hydrating pick-me-up to ensure that this super serum is gentle to even sensitive skin types.

Step 1: After cleansing in the evening, apply two pumps of Crystal Retinal to the face and neck. Allow to absorb then follow with a moisturiser. Medik8 recommend Advanced Night Restore (sold separately) which is specifically designed to be used after vitamin A.
Step 2: For new users of Crystal Retinal, phase application in gradually. Use twice a week for the first two weeks, every other night for the next two weeks, then every night. You should always use a sunscreen the next morning after using vitamin A. Medik8 recommend using at least one tube of your current Crystal Retinal strength before moving up the ladder to the next strength.

Improved my skin
A repurchase. I’ve used up a tube of this before. At first, I wondered if it actually did anything. After a few weeks, I noticed my skin looked brighter, and I think this product contributed to that. I started using it every other day, but quickly switched to daily use. I haven’t experienced any irritation, but that’s rare for me. So try it out with caution. The color is a bit off-putting, though. It looks very orange and doesn’t go well with snow-white pillowcases.

Texture and consistency wise is not perfect. I apply it on wet skin, otherwise doesn’t slide neither spreads smoothly on the skin (kind of glues on the application spots). But it gives great skin in the morning and at mid/long term. Probably one of the best retinals out there.

Wow this is a very strong retinol product. Has taken me some time to get used to it. First had to use a thin serum underneath, then mixing with the medic8 10, and now I can use it alone but not every day. Would recommend to double down on moisture ☺️ regardless, best brand I tried of retinol and I have gine through many brands. You get what you pay for
