Fab box, just not my cup of tea
Great box, though scents overall underwhelming. Either they’re off-puttingly sharp and poor lasting or overwhelmingly heavy and long-lasting. None fits just right. Not my cup or tea*. Though I greatly appreciate the trial size box. I wish all brands would do this. *Bear in mind, my taste in smell has changed about a year ago. (Thanks, covid.) All of my perfumes smell differently than they once did. Idole e.g. my everyday favourite that once smelt like a dusky symphony, nowdays reeks of such sweetness it feels like a slap in the face. Hence, the scents could easily smell just fine, it might just be me who’s become scent-mutilated.

I'm a big fan of Maison Margiela fragrances so I when this came back into stock I jumped at the chance to sample the range. Lazy Sunday Morning is a new favourite and I now get the hype around By the Fireplace
