This lightweight formula delivers a soft-focus, matte finish with sheer-to-medium coverage that blurs, sculpt and smooth in a single step. Infused with peptides, it visibly refines texture, boosts elasticity and reduces the appearance of pores. Enriched with vegetal squalane and camelina sativa seed oil, it soothes and protects the skin’s barrier, leaving a natural, long-lasting matte glow. To build coverage from light to medium, use the brush or sponge to layer the product as desired from sheer to medium coverage. For sheer coverage, smooth all over the face with fingertips.

Great foundation
I really like the finish and the easy application. However, my skin does get oily quickly,therefore it might not be the best product for oily skin types. I use a powder on top of it too.

I bought shade 01. It works amazing, how I imagined. I use it with Laura Mercier brush. Blends amazing. I have oily T zone, so I was looking for something more on the matt side. It is buildable. Concealer works great on it although liquid bronzes blends a bit harder, but still works. I do not put powder on top of this balm as I do not see the need and it would feel and look too heavy. It does not oxidize.

Fantastic formula, frustrating amount!
I've been testing this balm for about a week and honestly, I'm impressed. The finish is what makes this product special. It gives a beautiful soft-focus blur without looking flat or overly matte. My skin still looks like skin, just smoother, more even and somehow a little more perfected. Pores are softened, fine lines appear less noticeable and the overall effect is very natural. I have combination skin with an oily T-zone, and most "blurring" products either look too powdery or feel heavy on my skin. This one doesn't. It has a natural skin-like glow while still controlling shine surprisingly well. The coverage is light but buildable. I don't really see the product going on; I see my skin becoming more even with each pass of the brush. That's very different from a traditional foundation. A few application tips from my experience: less is more, and it performs beautifully when applied over a hydrated base. I also found that lightly misting my skin and brush before application made the balm blend more smoothly and look even more natural. My only real complaint is the amount of product. I hit pan incredibly fast, which was honestly shocking considering the price. The compact contains very little product for the money, and that's hard to ignore. Would I repurchase? Painfully, yes. The finish is that good.
