After working for some of the biggest names in beauty, trailblazing make up artist Danessa Myricks set out to create a brand that is multifunctional and inclusive of all ages, skin tones and genders. Her cult products combine beauty with artistry to deliver high-performance, ground-breaking looks you can achieve at home. Case in point: the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder - aka your new secret weapon for an ultra-smooth, glowing complexion. Starring upsalite, a revolutionary Swedish ingredient, this unique formula adjusts its oil absorption to address your skin's specific needs throughout the day. Magic? It feels - and looks - like it.
Ready to meet your new dream base? The Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder does exactly what its name suggests, while drenching your skin in hydration and balancing oil production.
It's powered by hyaluronic acid and Swedish upsalite - a first-of-its kind, ultra-porous form of magnesium carbonate, which is twice as absorbent as talc, while also being a cleaner, more sustainable option. Olive-derived squalane is also key in this groundbreaking formula, supporting oil production and diminishing visible signs of ageing. Expect a petal-like texture that feels like a balm but sets like a powder, giving a long-lasting, shine-free look. Choose from 11 shades to find your perfect match.
Magnesium Carbonate, Isohexadecane, C13-15 Alkane, Isododecane, Dimethicone, Squalane, Synthetic Wax, Synthetic Candelilla Wax, Kaolin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Linum Usitatissimum (Linseed) Seed Oil, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Oil, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Glyceryl Behenate, Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil, Microcrystalline Wax/Cera Microcristallina/Cire Microcrystalline, Polyethylene, Stearoxy Dimethicone.

Holy grail for someone with an oily forehead
If you have an oily T-zone I really recommend trying this one. I use the universal shade as a primer before applying foundation/skin tint and I have no complaints.

Meh
It’s okay, but I don’t love it. The blurring is there, but it doesn’t last long on me it gets oily after a bit. I picked up the Universal shade, but it didn’t do much for my skin tone. Maybe the tinted shades work better. I like the idea behind it, but for the price, I expected more. There are more affordable products out there that give me similar (or better) results. Not bad, just not worth the hype in my opinion.

Really blurs, but texture and smell are weird
I really love how this blurs my skin, however I find that I still get oily after the 4 hr mark. The texture is a bit weird, very light and easy to overapply, but I only use the littlest bit otherwise it's patchy. I apply with my fingers. Not a fan of the smell. It's good for no-makeup makeup, I would like to try it underneath more intense skin makeup, but right now after a week of use, not sure I would repurchase. It was not an instant love.

Nice product but you have to be careful
You have to figure out the right amount of product to use. If you over do it your face will become an oily mess. When you know your correct amount your make up will last so long and it will remain matte

I've tried..
I've tried to make this work, but no way, it looks way too matte but feels very vaseline like. I'm so disappointed especially for that price?!

Great
Received this primer in Cult box. Now this is my favourite primer! I have combinated skin and enlarged pores. This magic thing blurs my skin and make-up holds perfectly on it!

In love
I'm in love with this blurring balm! It really blurs and keep shine at bay, and I love using it on its own as a light coverage - perfect for summer!

Disappointed
This balm makes my skin really oily (despite it’s combination/normal). I also could not see any effect. I would personally not recommend it
