Start your foundation routine by preparing and moisturising you skin with {Confidence in a Cream}. Very thick, much more like a heavy foundation than a CC cream, pretty disappointed

Have been using Chanel vitalumiere aqua foundation for so many years and could never find a cheaper replacement for it, but after trying this CC cream I can say goodbye to my bellowed Chanel one. They both look very similar when applied,but the CC cream looks even better on the skin and it doesn't feel tacky, I feel like I don't even need to powder it that much or at all if I just want to even out my skin tone and run through the doors, but at the same time it gives a nice glow to the skin and makes it look very smooth. Somehow it makes me look younger, which I didn't think it's even possible for me, since I look a lot younger than my age already. So far this is the best foundation that I have ever tried and I am definitely going to repurchase, wish I have discovered it sooner. The only negative thing is that it is a bit thicker than I would like, so it's harder to spread and blend, but nothing so significant that it would refrain me from using it.

Disappointing
I wasn’t able to swatch or test this before buying first unfortunately. The coverage is perfect, just what I was after, and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin. But the formula is too dry and you have to work it in the skin really quickly. At the end of the day I also have little dry patches come up. The biggest disappointment is the shade - Fair Light is too dark and orange toned! I thought I’d been sent the wrong shade initially as it looks nothing like IT Cosmetics’ swatch online. I had to buy some foundation lightening drops so I could actually use it. Avoid if you have very pale skin, or be prepared to have to buy lightening drops as well!

Love using this
This is a great base product for glow, medium coverage and SPF (though I’ve not tested the spf in summer time). The packaging is great too. I enjoy using it. The only drawback is that I don’t find it that long lasting on the skin when used on its own. But that’s partly because I’m used to using Bare Minerals barepro longwear foundation which sets and lasts all day.

The CC cream is amaaaazzzing. I actually have used it with my fingers and I had a great result, when you apply it wait for 2 minutes to dry and then set it out with your favourite powder.

Amazing product
I fell in love with this from the 1st application. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of shade range. I took the shade light but it's a little too dark for me. I don't mind it when I'm going for that tan look or if I won't be wearing hijab, but there's a noticeable difference to my neck, luckily if I will be out and about and won't be without/removing my hijab, it's doesn't show so I just look tanned. I would like to try the shade Fair once this is finished. I like that I don't have to wear sunscreen underneath, and choose it over my other foundations to skip the extra step if I'm in a rush and don't want to wait for my sunscreen to absorb because it can pill up if I don't. I love how natural it looks, totally lives up to the claim of "my skin but better". It's not exactly full coverage but it works well enough to even out my skin tone and give a natural, smooth finish and spot concealing can take care of any blemishes. Will definitely repurchase over and over again. It's a winner for me.
