Twist base to dispense product. Retract and firmly replace cap after each use to prevent the formula from drying out. For a diffused effect, define the eyes along the upper lash line and blend. For a winged look, extend the liner past the outer corner of the eye using short strokes until the desired length is achieved.

Fabulous liner with a design flaw
This is probably the best black liner I've ever used. It's pigmented, creamy, applies beautifully, and it stays put – to the extent that after a particularly difficult group therapy session one of the group members asked me what eyeliner I was wearing cause it didn't budge when I was crying. And it doesn't irritate my eyes, either, which is rare for me. It seems that just about everything irritates my eyes. The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is that I still have about an inch of eyeliner left but the stick keeps falling out of the pencil and when I try to use it it just falls back inside the pencil. And to pinch it between my fingers and apply it just ends up with messy fingers and smudgy eyeliner. In short, it stops working while there's still a decent amount of eyeliner left inside. The price is already quite high for these, but I'd be willing to pay it if I could be confident that I'd get to use the entire stick.

Beautiful formula that stays put and doesn’t budge. Chestnut is a gorgeous shade for greenish eyes. However, for the price, I think there are other brands that offer the same quality for much less.
