Housed in a distinctive strawberry-shaped bottle, this skin-polishing formula harnesses a 10% Clarity Acid Complex (a mix of 2% salicylic acid and 1% mandelic acid to help smooth the appearance of skin). I used this serum for over 6 month (regularly at first, but then I stopped and used it on occasion). Sadly, I did not notice any effect on my combination skin. The smell is nice, as it is in all Glow Recipe products.

This serum feels nice going on and smells nice but I didn't notice much of a difference to my skin. As far as exfoliators go, Glow Recipe's watermelon toner does a much better job and is also hydrating. Also the packaging makes it impossible to get the last bit out of the bottle!

Nice exfoliating serum
I love many Glow Recipe products and this one is no exception: it is a nice serum, very light, and it quickly absorbs. Personally I had no tingling nor stinging at all. If you have a very bad acne, I would choose something else, but for mild breakouts and a weekly exfoliation for a "normal" skin, it works pretty well.

A must have if you have hormonal acne
I have combination skin with acne and dry patches. Every other serum I've tried with acids in it made my skin even worse. This one is delicate but effective and in the morning I don't feel my skin dry or itchy. The fragrance has not irritated my skin so far. I however do not recommend using this product every day.

By using the Glow Recipe Strawberry Smooth BHA+AHA Salicylic Serum, you'd never guess it is supposed to be containing potent acids. This product feels very gentle and non-irritating on the skin and comes with a sophisticatedly mild strawberry scent that even I like (normally, I'm not a fan of artificial strawberry scents at all).
