I really wanted to love this shampoo and the matching conditioner, but I have had a lot of issues since I started using it. It wasn’t immediate but gradually my head has become itchier and itchier. I thought perhaps it was down to something else, but this is the one thing I’ve changed recently and my scalp is burning. I don’t have a particularly sensitive scalp but I’m concerned about the state of it now after only around 3 weeks of use. The smell of this shampoo is delicious, a real treat. It lathers beautifully and feels like you’re getting a really nice wash but my hair feels like it needs washing again almost next day. It feels greasier than ever before and I imagine that is what’s causing the scalp issues. It’s ironic because I thought this honey based shampoo would soothe my scalp and avoid any possibility of irritation but alas. It’s a real shame because the marketing is also spot on. It has all the potential but I am not willing to sacrifice my scalp health for it. It doesn’t smell that good unfortunately!
