The Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is infused with antioxidant rich fruit extracts and oils to help soothe skin, whilst an African oil blend of marula, baobab, Kalahari melon, mongongo and ximenia intensely moisturises and restores the look of your skin's elasticity and luminosity. Use the accompanying Bamboo Booster (a physical exfoliant, formed from ultra-fine bamboo and charcoal spheres), once or twice a week to gently slough away dead skin cells to help reveal a dewy complexion.

Was expecting more but okay
It's an okay cleansing balm but I was expecting more for this price. It's too oily, a bit hard to wash off and I've had cheaper brands remove makeup better.

Good product
One of the best cleansers for sure. Leaves the skin so soft and subtle, never too harsh and doesn't burn the eyes. As every balm cleanser it still has to overcome the problem with removing difficult eye makeup, but for the rest it works very well.

I have plenty of cleansing balms that don't even require a second cleanse as they do everything in one go, including removing makeup and themselves. This balm leaves a nasty residue. It is probably ok if you use a cloth, but really not worth the price in my opinion.

Best makeup remover EVER
Always use on dry face - otherwise it doesn’t work . Keep in mind it can be a bit challenging if you’re in a country with a lot of humidity. Mine was bought sept 2021 and I am still using from the same box (about 1/10th left - April 2023) Perfect for removing all mascaras and red lipstick.

This is a decent cleansing balm, that removes makeup and SPF very effectively and leaves the skin hydrated. But I find the ones from REN skincare slightly better and the Oat one from The Inkey List just as good and for so much better price. I also prefer the tube packaking, so I think I would not repurchase this one very often. Maybe for a change sometimes or when it´s on sale.

Takes makeup off with no effort
I first got this as a sample with another order and quickly decided to buy the big version ! It truly is such a great product and takes the makeup off with no effort. I used to need many products until I felt like my makeup was completely taken off but now, I only use this on my entire face and a cleanser and my skin feels super clean and hydrated. I really recommend, it's worth the bucks!
