Formulated with marula oil, which is high in antioxidants and omegas to give the skin a powerful dose of hydration, this must-have also stars mongongo to defend against environmental aggressors and baobab provides moisturising and soothing benefits. Elsewhere in the formula, kalahari melon is a super hydrating, rejuvenating oil, and ximenia is rich in vitamin C, making it fantastic at brightening the look of skin. Produced at an ideal pH level of 5.5, Lala Retro Whipped Cream prevents skin from looking dull or dry while delivering a steady dose of moisture during night and day.

I think I have repurchased this moisturiser around 6 times. It worked wonders when I started with Differin and the latter left my skin extremely dry and flaky. It was also working well when my cystic acne was rampant (didn’t help with acne, but helped to keep my skin from drying out from aggressive products). Not sure if it is exactly worth full price, I always buy it when there’s a discount, it brings the price to somewhat reasonable 🤷🏼♀️

Good moisturiser in great packaging
This moisturiser is serviceable, lovely texture and no scent, which I prefer. The thing that I love about this product, though, is the packaging. I like that I just have to pump the top a little to get the exact right amount! I do wish it was a little more ‘whipped’ but then I think you wouldn’t get enough product for the price.
