Overpriced
I do love Danessa Myricks products but I do find this over priced. Especially when you can’t mix and match your own colours. The shade number 8 is beautiful but I did only buy it for the lilac shade ..

it has both positive and neutral experience for me. First that cooling effect has slight tingling experience on my lids that I am not sure is pleasant. I think it can be quite disturbing for my sensitive eyes. Also super fast drying time is also not my favorite. Colorwise foils are just a bunch of large colorful glitters. I am 45 and I have doubts about if I like that. I quite like metallic part so far much more. I am really on the crossroad weather to keep or declutter it

Unique product, user friendly, beautiful shades!
This is a review on Shade 5 on a 38 y/o woman with a light-medium skin tone and a neutral/olive undertone. Green/hazel eyes with dark brown hair that has a reddish/golden undertone to it. I wish I had chosen a different shade but unfortunately, DMB isn’t sold anywhere in store in the Netherlands (no Sephora here….) so I had to make a choice on the reviews I saw and read. Duo 5 is pretty, but I think I would’ve preferred shade 1 or 6 if I could make the choice again. I wanna get another shade but I’m so torn on what shade to get that I just can’t decide. I don’t want to get the wrong shade again because it’s such a good product and I want to use it every day and just occasionally because the color doesn’t suit me well. I don’t wanna work so hard to make a color work for me. Anyway, the product is really good! Application is easy, you can blend it out with a brush, but just don’t wait to long to blend it out. The metallic side is perfect as an every day shade and the foil side is good as a topper. Shade 5 break down: Metallic side: it’s more of a pinkish bronzed champagne color. It does have that bronzed hue to it because it really leans rather warm. Foil side: it’s a topper shade, has not much of a base color (which is a good thing!!), tap it on! Do not swipe to rough and especially don’t do that when the stick is twisted up to much because it can break of. Also be careful when applying it over a darker eyeshadow because the stick will stain (you can fix that by really carefully wiping it of on a paper towel). Best is to tap it on over the metallic, bare skin or a luxury quality eyeshadow cream, liquid or powder doesn’t matter. I’ve noticed that both sides of the stick apply better on expensive ones than cheaper ones, the cheaper ones really tend to cause clumping of the stick and/or the eyeshadow product on my eyelids. Anddd yes I’ve applied it on several different occasions and in different ways. So with a brush to product, product swiping on my eyelids and blend it out, apply it on the back of my hand and then to my eyes (free bonus: don’t do that last one, it will not work. Not at all hahaha).

Nice shades but the formula is not for me
I liked the diversity of the shades, many different colors, many variations if we combine them. Also like the magnetic design, to be able to switch up the shades in the stick. However the formula feels a bit off for me. I have a scar on my eye and this keeps sitting in the scar making it actually more visible. I have some other glitters and eyeshadow sticks that do not do that, so I was a bit disappointed, I expected more from this product. I also find it a bit harder to blend, sometimes the product just builds up in places and does not move afterwards.
