Apply to dry hair. Load up the small end of the brush with powder. Use free hand to pull hair flat/taut against head and press brush down firmly into roots, starting from scalp and working out (do not use sweeping motion). Apply more powder as needed. To extend highlights, use the side edge of the small brush.

Good colour match for auburn hair
I bought this for my mum and it seems to be a good colour match for medium-dark auburn hair with grey/white roots. It does look a bit funny up close if it gets on the skin on the forehead or scalp but can be rubbed in and isn’t as noticeable then.

It works but requires a specific technique
You have to make sure the hair is taught and that you put a lot of powder on the thinner side of the brush to be able to show the platinum shade over darker hair. But if done right it does work and it is waterproof too and sleep proof!

Effective but needs careful application
This product works quite well in covering roots. I have very pale skin and very dark hair, so my part is always bright white. This product also helps bring down that startling contrast. It is fussy to use and it's easy to get the powder everywhere, but it does a good job of covering up the grey roots between visits to the colourist.
