Great moisturiser, but the pump broke!

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

Such a great moisturiser.  But the pump broke so I have to scrape it out of the bottle with the pump stick.  Super annoying

Byoma cream

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

Been using for around 3 weeks but unfortunately the pump has broken so is now unusable. The cream itself is a nice consisity and feels nice on the skin but I probably won't bother with a repurchase as it's its wasted money if you can't get it out of the tube!

Good moisturiser

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have bought this quite recently, and my skin is still getting used to it. It does have a heavier texture than most moisturisers although it’s not as rich as described. The pump did break after only two uses and now I open it each time I use it. It is good, but I’d say this is more for normal rather than dry skin.

Great product, rubbish packaging

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

This moisturiser is great, teamed with the brightening serum, my skin hasn't felt this good since I was in my 30's, but jeez, the packaging! Yes, it's cute, and pretty to look at, putting a thick cream in a pump dispenser is daft to start with, but a container that's not see through or with any clear way of getting it open is verging on ridiculous. I'd have absolutely given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that I have to spend ages every day shaking, bashing, shouting etc. before I can get any product out, and I have no idea how much product is left so I've had to reorder, probably way before time.

Love it

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is a brill moisturiser - it’s a thick cream with no scent and it goes on really well. I find 2 pumps will cover my whole face & neck but I usually use 3 because I love the feel of this. It instantly feels hydrating and protecting - very much like it’s sealing in what’s underneath it whilst adding moisture. I am combo skin, more towards the oily side so did find that it sat on my face for a while before sinking in so would perhaps only use 1 - 1 1/2 pumps under make up. It’s a very good all round moisturiser, price is fantastic for the amount of product and the quality of the product. 100% would recommend for combo/ dry skin types. You can’t go wrong with this moisturiser!!

Good moisturizer - but the packaging...

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

Okay. The pump just does not work with the product at all. Fortunately, it does come off (just hard to screw off because the surface does not offer any grip) - but because the bottle is very sturdy you can't squeeze the product out either. And it is quite creamy and does not come out just by turning the bottle upside down. So getting the product out is really hard. The product itself feels quite good. Have used it now for a week or so. No breakouts, and I feel that this is really barrier strengthening. Love the INCI as well.Won't repurchase, though, if it is not repackaged. A regular old, unsexy squeeze tube would be perfect for a moisturizer like this.

Disappointing

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was super excited to try this product, especially after reading the product description. Packaging is beautiful, directions are very easy to follow. However, the quality of the packaging is awful - I have an almost full bottle left, but the pump has already broken, and it’s completely unusable; I also can’t get the top off to scoop it out. Also, I noticed since I’ve been using Byoma I’ve had terrible breakouts! I wouldn’t personally recommend.

Love

Love this moisturiser fast becoming my daily go to skin feels amazing and sits really well under make up. Few issues with pump dispenser initially but have managed to sort out. Will definitely be buying again!

Good cream

The cream is worth a try but the packaging is absolutely disastrous. The pump dispenser doesn’t work, what is the point of the cream being packaged so if the pump dispenser is faulty.

Terrible packaging

1 stars out of a maximum of 5

In addition to being fit for its purpose, manufacturers today need to think about the entire lifetime of their product packaging, and I'm afraid Marc Elrick's Future Beauty Labs will have to go back to the drawing-board with this one.I'm always on the look-out for cruelty-free product lines and was really looking forward to trying this Cult Beauty exclusive. Unfortunately, anticipation turned quickly to frustration. The pump dispenser on the bottle I received does not work. The only way I could try the cream was to take off the top and scrape some out with the end of the tube. Perhaps it is as wonderful as other reviewers have said, but I'm not sure how I'll find out. (I've given it one star for being truly fragrance-free.)I accept the pump problem might be a one-off, but the bottle's rigid design feels gimicky and a bit cynical overall. Is the plastic even recyclable? It's definitely impossible to squeeze or cut, so even when the pump dispenser does work there must be a lot of product left over which there's no way to reach (or see). The moisturizer is so thick that it won't drain from the bottle, even left upside-down overnight, so there will be a lot of waste. This makes the attractive price point rather less appealing and, for me, too much to pay for a failed experiment destined for landfill/incineration.
