Nice texture, absorbs well into the skin, no irritation, no redness. I have started to use it during my vacation and I managed to get away without sun pigmentations or extra dark spots. Sit well under SPF and makeup.

Didn't Do Much
Negatives:I used this for 10 days straight every morning under SPF and it didn't give me that glow I'm used to getting when I use a good vitamin c serum. Positives It didn't break me outIt sat well under makeupIt didn't have a smellOverall:I don't think it was worth it.

A glowy vitamin C for sensitive skin
I am yet to try a product from Biossance that I haven't fallen in love with. As someone with super reactive skin, I can trust that these gentle formulas will work for me. I always want to use vitamin C in my routine but find that it is one of those ingredients that can be a bit too much for my skin so I am constantly looking for gentle but effective formulas. Enter Biossance Squalane and Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum which is lightweight, feels calming and hydrates my skin. I've been using this consistently every morning for the last month and I am seeing an improvement in some of my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation marks already so I'm sure I will repurchase it when I finish the bottle.

Great but pricey
I bought this when I got a flare up of hormonal cystic acne on my entire neck whilst pregnancy hormones were running rampant through my body. I believe this has had a positive impact on the hyperpigmentation caused by this type of acne and now the hormones have gone and the spots have cleared the marks are fading more and more with continued use. I would say it is pricey for the amount of product you get. I used 1-1.5 pumps twice a day after washing my face, so it doesn’t last the longest. But I’d pay anything to have something help me with these marks! Can’t say I’ve noticed any difference in general to any other skin tone though, so unless you’ve got something like I’ve experienced not so sure it would do much for you.Â

Redness & Irritation
So I tried a sample of this earlier and didn't notice any kind of reaction. I bought the full size. I recently pared down my skincare routine to minimize reactions as I found out I have sensitive skin. The first time I used the full size, I got redness and inflammation. Which is really weird - why did the sample not affect me as much? Also, this is 10% vitamin C, but I have used higher concentration serums (primarily Vichy's 15% Vitamin C serum) with no irritation whatsoever. I think its a shame because the ingredients list sounds amazing but there is definitely something irritating here.

Not bad
Nice texture, not tacky and sinks into skin easily, sitting well under makeup and spf. However I didn't see any brightening effect like with other vit C products or any lightening of dark spots /pigmentation. (I have pale fair skin)

Good but not the best Vit C serum
Im in my 30s, oily skin and do love loads of Biossance products but this one doesn’t seem to be working for me. I have some (very little) hyperpigmentation and decided to try this serum as I do enjoy other products form the brand. It’s lightweight and milky colour, no smell that I can detect, sinks in very well and is not sticky. However, having finished this serum, I simply to do see any difference and if anything some smaller patches of darker skin have gone worse. I will be going back to my Sunday Riley Vit C or Medik8 as these have truly worked extremely well for me.Â

New Vitamin C Bestie!
Have gone through many vitamin C products due to having quite sensitive skin, especially towards vitamin C, but this... WOW! Not only is this super lightweight, so can be worn under skincare layers, makeup, SPF (you name it), but this really is effective. Have had some aggressive breakouts lately, that has left me with new blemish scars, even after a few uses of this, I can 100% see a lightning effect on the scars. The overall texture and plumpness of my skin are also looking really healthy! Definitely recommend and repurchase!

Definitely works
I have oily combination skin with frequent breakouts on my chin that would be similar to cystic/hormonal acne so painful spots that form deep under the skin and leave red scars on my face. I started using this after the spots had ruptured to help reduce inflammation and redness and it definitely has worked! I can definitely see a reduction in redness and slowly fading to the point I can put tinted moisturizer on and the scars aren’t noticeable. It doesn’t work overnight so you need to be consistent in applying this every night but I suppose it depends on what type of redness you have.
