it is good when I first applied it but when I went swimming it hurt my eyes very badly and was flaky, I do not think it is really waterproof

Not waterproof
First of all- I love Benefit. But this mascara was a total disappointment. I really needed waterproof mascara, but this is 100% not waterproof. Tried it out 3 times- it leaves more black circles aroung the eyes than regular mascara. EVERY TIME! And it’s not like I’m crying a lot or taking walks in the rain.

A good mascara but not my favourite one
I bought this mascara because I have seen lots of reviews and I wanted a mascara that doesn't transfer to the eyelid. It is a good mascara: it gives a solid black color in the lashes and it is very resistant to sweet or tears. But I feel my lashes aren't so beauty: they have length enough but not so volume that I would like. I don't have found my favourite waterproof mascara yet.

It is a great mascara for events, it actually is waterproof and makes the lashes look full and elongated. Less fitting for daily use cause it's harder to remove.

I like it but hard to get off.
Im surprised to see many reviews saying it smudges because i don’t have that problem at all. It gives my lashes a nice full look. The only reason why I’m deducting a star is because it is really hard to get off. It takes quite a bit of time.

All mascaras; including waterproof ones from other brands; fall out from my eyes. This one didn’t. Stays all day on me. I have to say i always use primer on my lids ( nars smudgeproof eyeshadow base) especially in my lower lash line. I need with all my mascaras or it turns a mess. I try this one without primer the first day. It moves a very little. I have very long lashes. This mascara make my eyelashles look nearly fake. I always use curler before the mascara.
