Replacing the traditional green-glass is delicate alabaster, these candles are not only luxurious scents for your space, but make for stunning sculptural centrepieces (complete with a matching top).

Exclusive to The Alabasters range, Héméra captures the break of dawn in scent form. Héméra, an ancient Greek goddess, has long been known as a representation of terrestrial light that clears the night and announces the start of a new day. A fresh, all-encompassing scent, this candle releases a fragrance that mirrors the transparency of the alabaster container that it is held within. As your candle continues to burn, a warm halo of light disperses into your space to mirror the inspiration behind its creation. Starting with fresh, spicy top notes of coriander and pink peppercorn and incense, this dims down into a sensual base of teak, cashmere and sandalwood, for a balmy, comforting aroma.

In order to get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle melts. To preserve the fragrance, do not burn your candle for more than 2 hours at a time during the first third of the candle and 1 hour at a time during the remaining. Do not leave candle burning unattended. Do not set in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets. Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten. Allow candle to solidify before relighting. Should any black smoke appear, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5mm at all times. Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wood or ceramic plate, for example). Do not burn your candle all the way down. Always leave at least 5 mm of non-molten wax at the bottom. Keep your candle in a dry and temperate environment, between 60 and 80° F. The first use of your candle should occur within the two first months after its reception.

Established in the 17th century, Cire Trudon is the oldest candle maker in the world and was responsible for perfuming the persons – and the palaces – of the French monarchy (until Napoleon staked his claim to the country and its première candle creators). Meet The Alabasters, the latest in a long line of iconic candles, sculpted in Spain out of a single block, these truly are a one-of-a-kind creation.

Burn time: 55 to 60 hours.
