If you're living in London, chances are that you've passed the Earl of East stores and done a double-take: picture a haven of plants, plush pillows and their all-famous home fragrances. What started in Hackney as a succinct edit of candles has since evolved into a line of home fragrance favourites that spans bath salts, incense and aromatic mists. Let the Flower Power Soy Wax Candle blast you to the past with an eclectic blend of sweet and dark notes that signals a nod to the 1960s.
Beyond its effortlessly chic vessel, the Flower Power Soy Wax Candle is made from an eco-soy blend of high-quality, raw materials from ethical suppliers (co-founder Niko Dafkos assures that their work does not contribute to deforestation and respects the rights of workers and indigenous people), so sit back, strike a match and allow yourself to be whisked away to the era of Hippies and the countercultural movement that inspired this scent.
Imagine: beds of sweet violet, powdery peony, and black tea surround you — channelling waves of harmony through hazy, sun-filled days. Instilling feelings of nostalgia and calm, whilst being a force of nature, it's safe to say that the Flower Power Soy Wax Candle is joy-inducing addition to your candle collection with between 35 to 60 hours of burning time depending on the size.
Before each burn it is essential to ensure you have removed any unnecessary wick, trimming the wick to approximately 1/4 inch. This is really easy and can be done simply by pinching the burnt wick away with your fingers before it is lit. Leave out of direct sunlight.

A little to sweet
Always love this brand, and thought to try a new scent, turned out to be a little overpowering on the floral note.Â

Sweet
I have tried other scents of EARL OF EAST candles, I would say this is my least favorite, it’s a little too much on the sweet side.Â
