Dampen hands and pump 2-3 (perfect for mornings) or 4-5 (perfect for evenings and a face full of make up) drops of oil into the palm of your hand. Spread between your palms and apply to your face. Start with your cheeks, nose, mouth and jawline before the eye area. Splash your face with warm water and continue to massage the oil into your face and eyelashes. Now here’s the absolutely crucial part. Take a clean VOTARY flannel and soak it in hand-hot water, wring it out, and put it over your face. Breathe in and allow the steam to penetrate your pores. Then, gently wipe everything away. Repeat if necessary. To finish, splash your face with warm water and pat dry with a clean towel.

Love at first cleanse
If you're looking for an indulgent, aromatic, hydrating cleanser this one is for you. Votary has a following for a reason and this cleanser is probably the first step to understand why. It has a beautiful fresh scent that I love when I use it as first cleanse in the morning, leaves my skin glowing and hydrated, and does not sting or irritate if you wash your eyes with it. I love it and have been for a long while now.

Indulgent cleansing
Love the feel and the smell. It’s a bit of a spa-y cleansing experience, and works well. Skin feels clean and soft after using - as long as you follow the instructions. You do have to use the cloth to remove it properly.

Worth the pricetag
I choose this as a free sample in a previous order as I’d read oils are great as a first cleanse / to remove make up. This stuff makes taking off make up effortless and leaves your skin feeling nice and soft. Will be buying regularly.ÂÂ

Believe the hype! It’s a beautiful product to use as a first cleanse. Melts away makeup and SPF. And the smell! Gorgeous! Must be followed by a gel/cream based cleanser as it does leave a slight residue on the skin otherwise.ÂÂ

Great Cleansing Oil
Love this cleansing oil - feels beautiful on the skin as you apply like a mini facial and lifts makeup easily and fully. A second cleanse normally shows no residual traces of makeup have been left behind!

The best cleanser I’ve ever used
I love this product, I've been using it for around 6 weeks now and my skin is clear and bright. My skin feels so soft and appears much younger than my 48 years! The smell is divine and I now look forward to cleaning my face at night. I’d definitely recommend this to everyone and I won’t use anything else to take off my make up from now on.

Great cleanser
It is the first oil cleanser I have ever used. At the beginning I was not really convinced as I thought an oil is not the best way to clean your face. I got it as a gift and I must admit that it is really amazing. It makes my skin really soft and a face cloth included in the pack removes the oil well. I like the smell too, natural and really soothing. Definitely recommended!
