The INKEY List’s aim is simple: to break through beauty jargon to deliver a straightforward take on the most-wanted ingredients in skin care. The newest addition to the fold is the Omega Water Moisturiser, a cream that exists in the sweet spot between ‘jam packed with ingredients to envelop skin in hydration’ and ‘lightweight enough to be suitable for even the most sensitive or blemish-prone complexion’. That sounds like a winning combination to us…
The perfect addition to your morning and night regimes, The INKEY List’s Omega Water Moisturiser is a lightweight, water-based gel moisturiser that promises to optimise skin’s hydration levels without leaving any trace of stickiness or oiliness.
So what’s the secret of success for this skin barrier-supporting superhero? It’s all in the ingredients. The brand’s ‘Omega Ceramide Complex’ is rich in a firming triple threat of omegas 3, 6 and 9, which work together to prevent water loss from skin and boost skin’s elasticity. Alongside this, there’s 5% glycerin, a humectant (essentially, a moisture magnet) which pulls hydration to the skin without clogging pores, and niacinamide, which helps regulate oil production, reduce redness and prevent pesky pimples.
After cleansing and preferred serums, gently massage a pea sized amount onto the face and neck.
Water (Aqua / Eau), Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Propanediol, Betaine, Polyglyceryl-4 Isostearate, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Magnesium Sulfate, Glycosphingolipids, Glycolipids, Sodium Benzoate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Oleic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Polyglycerin-3.

The best!
I loved it! Super light, doesn’t feel on the face. For oily skin is perfect!
Report this reviewToo light
I had high hopes for this lightweight formula since I have oily skin, but this is too light even for my skin. It sinks into the skin pretty fast but doesn’t do much for hydration. My skin felt tight after using this. I think this product is better suited for layering under moisturizer.Â
Report this reviewCauses breakouts
I really wanted to like this, but no... its a disappointment to say the least. Caused breakouts and pimples. When applied on clean skin without any serums, it feels slippery and doesn't feel like its being absorbed. With serums it seems better. But my biggest problem was the breakouts it caused me. This was the only different thing in my skin care regime. This is Going in the trash.
Report this reviewItchy, burning
It's like glue - sticks to your face like glue which is super odd. I was hoping it would be like a mix between Paulas voice water electrolyte cream and the omega cream but it's not at all. Smell is fine but it does not glide onto the face at all, so you need A LOT to cover your face. Also, any scars or blemishes - will BURN. This never happens to me. Terrible.
