I’ve been using it for about two weeks now. While I can’t comment on its overall effectiveness for dark spots, so far I’m liking it more than the other azelaic acid product from Paula’s Choice. Feels more gentle, also like other ingredients it has like salicylic acid.

Works well on my oily acne prone skin
I was looking to buy a good Azelaic acid when I found this one. It does help preventing breakouts and has helped fade my acne marks. It takes time though. There is no overnight magic. You will have to use it consistently. It's a small tube but lasted me 3 months. No irritation, no strong fragrance. Absorbs well, no sticky feeling. I use it in the night. Use SPF in the morning.

I actually wanted to buy another product of Paula's Choice (Clear Ultra-Light Daily Mattifying Fluid SPF+ 30) which looks exactly like this packaging so when I used it for the first time, I was a bit disappointed. After using this daily I still didn't liked the product as much as the one I mentioned before. It gave me a sticky feeling but it hydrated my skin. Not a bad product, but not my favourite one!

Good for breakeouts
I have dry skin prone to breakouts. I use this 2-3 times a week and it helps to keep the pimples at bay. However, I prefer the Paulas choice azelaic acid booster to this, this is maybe just a bit too harsh for my liking. Overall a good product, if you do not have a dry skin like me, you have nothing to fear and go for it.
