Offering gentle yet effective exfoliation with 10% lactic acid (an alpha hydroxy acid), this lightweight serum reduces pigmentation, minimises fine lines and wrinkles and improves overall skin texture. It's also bursting with Tasmanian pepperberry to reduce signs of inflammation and soothe any redness sometimes caused by exfoliation. Oh, and there's more... it's enhanced with nourishing hyaluronic acid to not only lock in moisture, but retain it too.

Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.)

Love this product!!!
I have oily/combination skin and acne scars from way back and this definitely helped lighten and even almost fade my scars completely. I also apply this to my chest where I suddenly had weird bumps and tiny pimples. Amazing product! I use this at night after the Glycolic acid toner, and alternate with the Vit C suspension. Works great! Highly recommend!

A ‘must’ for acne-prone skin
Now look, stop searching. If you’re looking for something that really does prevent you from breaking out, this is it. You definitely need to use it every single evening, though, for at least a couple of weeks without exception. It GRADUALLY does make your scars fade away but after a long time of use. I do not think this is a miracle product for that specific purpose but it helps you stay away from getting pimples. Plus it’s cheap and it improves how your complexion looks overall

I love this product. This was the first acid I tried on my skin and although I’ve now tried many other brands/types I always come back to this. The acid is the right balance that work without being too harsh and the HAs really help soothe the skin.

Very good mild AHA peel
I love this product. It does a very good job in a gentle exfoliation, even on sensitive skin. It soothes the redness and evens out skin texture, without irritation. Slightly tingly but it's absolutely bearable. Would recommend.

5 star product
All products take time before they start to work but after a month of using this, I can really feel and see a difference. The bumps on my face have reduced and even the blackheads and pores on my nose and forehead have almost gone! I brought this to clear up any last traces of the hormonal acne and reduce the lumps and bumps. I'm more than happy with the outcome and will continue to use and recommend.

Game changer
My whole skincare routine are products from The Ordinary, but the product that makes the most difference by far is this one. I don’t really have sensitive skin and before this I was used to the Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos so I jumped right into this one and still haven’t had any stinging or tingling whatsoever. Every morning I wake up to a more glowy and smooth skin than the day before. I could never do without this one.

I've been using this for more than a month combined with the Salicylic Acid 2% Solution & the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% (both by The Ordinary) and I cannot explain how good my skin feels. I still have a long way to go to achieve my goals when it comes to my skin but I am loving these products so far. I use Lactic Acid 10% + HA three times a week before going to bed and it's a bit tingly but nothing too bad. It's bearable when you think about the work it does. I highly recommend for people with sensitive and acne-prone skin like mine.

Great, mild AHA exfoliator
I've been using this product for about 2 months, 3 times a week in the PM. I apply it after cleansing and toning and it normally tingles a bit for 1-2 minutes right after applying. I have not experienced any kind of redness or peeling with this product. Overall, I would say this is a great product for those looking to incorporate an AHA exfoliator in their skincare routine. I have noticed significantly less comedones forming on my chin, forehead and cheek area and I have had slightly less breakouts since incorporating this product. In terms of superficial observations, my skin feels a lot smoother and has more clarity. I have also observed that the blocked pores with blackheads on my nose are slightly less noticeable. However, lactic acid is an AHA so I don't expect this product alone to tackle blackheads as AHA's are not oil-soluble. I would also like to mention that I am using other products in my skincare regime to help with these skin concerns so I can't conclude that my skin improvements have been entirely thanks to this product alone.
