Love the feeling, but does leave a residue
I enjoy to put this serum on my scalp because it’s cold and feels hydrating, but you definitely see it the next day. It leaves a soft residue on my scalp, which makes my hair look oily. I now use it just before washday, but I am going to look into other serums and hopefully find one that is truly “not visible”!

Good for dry scalp
It moisturized my dry scalp very well, but did not make my scalp greasy. I used glycolic acid on my scalp before washing my hair and this afterwards and was able to get rid of the dandruff symptoms from a dry scalp in 2 weeks.

Mixed feelings
This really helps my scalp when it feels itchy, but I have no idea how you are meant to make 2 drops cover your scalp. It just gets into my hair so I need to use way more and then it makes it greasy. Fine if you plan to wash your hair the next day. Nice and soothing.

I love The Ordinary products but I was really disappointed with how it left my hair looking greasy especially after the description had said it wouldn’t. It’s fine to use overnight if you plan on washing your hair the following day but I wouldn’t recommend it on freshly washed hair.Â
